It is extremely hard to miss Wonder Works on International drive, it has a very unique characteristic. Although each building on International Drive is different (some are tall like the Peabody, some are just huge and spread out like the Convention Center), they all share one common trait: they are all right-side up. In fact, you can say that's a common trait with pretty much all buildings. However, there are a couple of exceptions and Wonder Works is one of those exceptions.

What makes Wonder Works unique is that the building looks like it got picked up by a tornado and tossed like a toy onto its top. The building is upside down. This kind of exterior presentation gives just a little insight into what can be expected on the interior.

Wonder works is filled with all kinds of sensational activities for everyone in the family. Wonder Works Lazer Tag

Located on the 3rd level of WonderWorks in the basement, is the World's largest lazer-tag arena/arcade. Lazer-Tag combines innovative technology and fast paced excitement to provide players with a one of a kind experience. Vest up and face off against your opponents inside the huge maze.

Customer Experience

I was a little skeptical at first when my friends wanted to take me to lazer tag on the second night of our vacation. We arrived at Wonder Works and I was amazed by the style of the building. I have never been here before and I was already impressed. Just the thought of walking into an upside down building was exciting! We went into a small dark room and they strapped on a vest of some sort. This vest was slightly heavy but it was tolerable. They give you a quick briefing and then they give you your gun. We were separated into two teams and then it began. THE MANHUNT WAS ON! It was quiet in the beginning but then I heard sounds in the distance of people screaming. I hid silently in a corner waiting for my victim. I was debating whether I should change locations, but then my patience paid off. Some poor soul came into my sights and BAM! I got him and his vest began to vibrate with the hit. I ran like the wind to change locations. I happened to stumble upon a battle involving several people. This was a massacre I was not expecting.
I wanted to escape but I couldn’t leave my friends there to suffer. So I battled it out with the rest of the team. People were dropping like flies! I have to admit, I was afraid, but I was also brave and I didn’t go down without a valiant fight. It all happened so fast it seemed as if it was over in a flash. I was hit and I had to admit defeat. We all left that night with out a scratch but we all had a better sense of unity. I was so glad we went to Wonder Works and did the Lazer-Tag. It’s an experience I will never forget.
