KISSIMMEE,
FL. –– Guests will find a new addition to
the splashin’ water park fun at Water Mania! “Rain Rock Mountain” is
the latest in thrills.
“RainRock
Mountain” is a 25 - foot high
waterfall that pits climbers against a vertical face that is made more
challenging by water falling from above as they climb. This latest in
climbing walls offers the “extreme experience” for the novice to the
advanced climber. Three faces of “RainRock Mountain” afford
three guests to climb at the same time.
“Water Mania is proud to be the first
Florida water park to bring this exciting challenge to individuals. Guests
not only rock climb, but they bring those daring skills into play under the
cool rush of a waterfall,” said Robert Keane, general manager of Water
Mania.
The “RainRock” will be available for most
guests over 44” in height. “This intense waterfall wall will be a
great addition to youth, corporate, and various other group functions,” said
Ernie Santo, youth and sports sales manager.
The excitement will
run high as friends and family cheer on the waterfall climber. Guests will
find the new addition centrally located on the wave pool deck. There
will be a nominal fee for climbers.
Water Mania continues to be a favorite among
residents and visitors with its continuous wave surf simulator, Wipe-Out,
the thrill of the darkness of the Abyss and the adrenaline rush of
the Screamer. The 2003 season kicks off on March 10,2003.
