Millennia Mall |
|
The Mall at Millennia has the most exclusive up-to-date fashions from all the
major cities around the world. Not only will you get the best shopping
selection, but also the best service as well. At the concierge desk you could be
helped with wheelchair rentals, hotel reservations, among many other services to
make your experience at the Millennia Mall as memorable as possible. The Mall
also offers some of the finest dining here in Orlando, with restaurants such as
the “Cheesecake Factory,” “P F Chang’s,” “California Pizza Kitchen,” and
“McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant” in its delicious line-up. The mall is
also well known for its nightlife. The “Blue Martini” for example, is often
times a good place to spot Orlando Magic basketball players and other familiar
faces you may have see on the big screen. And if you are planning a big day of
shopping, forget remembering where you parked with all your heavy bags when you
could use the Millennia Mall valet parking service. With priceless pieces of
tile scattered all across the floor, dating back to more than a thousand years
ago, there is not a single detail left out of this beautiful mall. Another plus
is its location is just 5 minutes fro Universal Orlando, and 10 minutes from the
Orlando Convention Center. The Mall is also 15 minutes away from Disney, and
only 20 minutes away from the Orlando International Airport. Basically, the Mall
at Millennia is a good place to swing by on your rest days from the parks. |

I remember the day I went to the Millenia Mall while I was on vacation
in Florida and it was one of the best mall’s I’ve ever been to. I’ve seen
specials about the mall on TV back home in New Jersey and let me tell you the TV
did no justice to its noted award-winning architectural design like seeing it up
close and personal. It is also convenient how simple the mall is set-up. It is
two levels tall and only goes from left to right, so getting lost and confused
are is very hard task. If I could describe the mall in two words, it would be
“class” and “elegance.” -Jim Robson
This place is awesome. I could never help myself from spending the whole day
there because there’s so much to do! Although many of the stores could get very
pricey, there is no other place to beat for the newest fashion and trends out.

Florida Mall |
|
The Florida Mall is just minutes from the Orlando International Airport which
would be a great warm-up to your vacation right after your land. The Florida
Mall is also right by Disney, SeaWorld, I-drive, and Universal studios which
are very convenient to many tourists. You would be able to go from here to the
parks without even breaking a sweat. And if driving to the mall is out of the
question why don’t you just stay there, at the Florida Mall Hotel, which has
some of the best rates and restaurant/bars in the area. The Florida mall has so
much to offer. With 234 stores, including six Department stores such as
Dillard’s, Sears, and Saks Fifth Avenue, it is highly doubtful a person wouldn’t
see something that catches their eye. There is even an indoor surfing
experience, where three times a year anyone could enter the contest for a $2,000
grand prize! And when you get tired or hungry be sure to stop by the food court
to enjoy a large variety of food options while you take a break from all the
shopping. Surrounding the Florida Mall are many other shopping stores and plazas
some of which include Best Buy, and Circuit City. It’s almost a guarantee you
will not leave the Florida Mall area empty-handed. This mall is the perfect
place for bargains and year-round sales that will surely keep you happy, and
your pockets thick. Just check out Abby's Florida Mall Review, and you'll see
that this is great place to shop. |

This place is awesome. There are so many stores everything I was
looking for could either be found in the mall, or in the other shopping plazas
around the mall. One of the downfalls though is the arrangement of the mall. It
is somewhat confusing and I sometimes found it challenging to get to some of the
stores I wanted to go to. Other than that, the sales and discounts were from 30
to 75% off, which did a lot to help my families shopping budget. I highly
recommend this mall. A must see when you come down to Orlando. -Ronald C.
I absolutely am in love with this mall. They have some of the best sales during
Memorial Day, the summer, and the winter. Another plus is how close it is in
reference to everything. I rate it a 9 out of 10. -Regina B. |
The Loop |
|
The Loop is the newest major shopping area of Kissimmee/Orlando. In the Fall
of 2006 only a part of the whole project called, Loop East, was opened and the
explosion of business made it an automatic hit in the area. However, shoppers
are even more eager in anticipation for the other half called, Loop West, to
open in late 2007. Currently, there are only 34 stores open some of which
include Kohl’s, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Kay Jewelers, Pac Sun, and Petco.
The Loop is also equipped with some of the tastiest restaurants here in town.
Make your selection from Chipotle, Panera Bread, Chilis, Macaroni Grill, Red
Brick Pizza, and Shane’s Rib Shack. The Loop does good job providing an ample
variety of restaurants to keep you fueled for shopping until closing. But things
don’t end there. The Loop East is also the location of Regal Cinemas containing
16 screens and first class roomy seats to give you one of the best movie
experiences in the Kissimmee/Orlando area. Catching a movie here is the perfect
way to finish off a full day of shopping, and to fully experience what the Loop
has to offer. There's even a phenomenon called Looping. But sit tight because
once the Loop West opens the Loop will reach its full potential easily making it
one of the busiest shopping centers in the area. The Loop West will feature JC
Penny, Belk, Burlington Coat Factory, and close to 40 other stores. Be sure to
take a stop by the Loop in your upcoming trip to Florida. Its location is just
two turns away from Disney so you can get there in minutes. SeaWorld is also
just 15 minutes away. |

The Loop East is great. I was able to get everything I needed in the
little time I was there. We also had an awesome lunch at this restaurant
chipotle. We had so many good choices I wanted to eat something at every place.
They even had a movie theater in the heart of all the stores which would have
been nice to go to but my children were too tired. But the one thing I had a
problem with was the parking. There just wasn’t enough. It was driving for
almost 10 minutes finding a spot. But it was an awesome place to shop. -Lindsay

Festival Bay at International Drive |
|
Festival Bay at International Drive is one of the most gorgeous shopping
centers here in Orlando. It’s a young Mall which opened recently in 1999 that
has only gotten better every year as it draws nearer to its finish. This
shopping center is also just minutes away from Universal Orlando and is located
on the same road as SeaWorld. If you are coming from the Disney area you are
still in luck as you are just several miles away. A unique feature of Festival
Bay that separates it from the other malls in the area is its indoor water
lagoon, which adds a beautiful accent to the shopping environment. Festival Bay
attractions includes The Bass Pro Shop, which holds events such as the super
aquarium fish feeding & educational program, the Ron Jon Surfpark which provides
surfers with the “perfect wave” time after time, and the 61,000-square foot Vans
Skatepark which has been a huge hit since its grand opening in early 2002.
Another great feature of Festival Bay is the Cinemark theaters equipped with 20
screens. The Cinemark has been regarding as providing the best comfort in its
theatres in addition to its exclusive preview showings of the most anticipates
pictures each year. Aside from having some of the best attractions in the
Orlando area, Festival Bay also includes 65 retail stores and restaurants
including Pacific Sunwear, Charlotte Russe, a Cold Stone Creamery, and Nine
West. Although Festival Bay at International Drive is not as bouffant as the
Florida Mall or as classy as the Mall at Millennia, but with crowd drawing
attractions in addition to the retail shopping stores and restaurants, there is
no doubt in calling it one of the best. |

There are stores whose only location in Central Florida is at Festival
Bay. I love to fish and the Bass Pro Shop is my home away from home. It is an
awesome place and the environment is very different from the traditional mall
look. This is a great mall, the best in my opinion. -Mark W.
My son loves to skateboard and since he started going to the Van’s Skate-park
since this past year he never stopped. I have been taking him to a number of
skate parks in the past but I like the Van’s at Festival Bay the best because of
the service and the help he gets from the people that work there. The best thing
is while my son is in the park, I could go grab a bite to eat and do some
shopping with my daughter. A lovely place with a beautiful water lagoon inside.

I live in the UK and come to Florida about every three years, making
sure to stop by this outlet at least once. The last time I was there I went to
Hugo Boss and purchased a suit for just under $400! A great bargain since the
prices of the same suit’s back here in the UK go for around 600 pounds, which is
around $1200 dollars. That is just one great deal among many others I found at
the Outlets. The best place to shop for sure. Cheers. -Nicola S. |
Prime Outlets |
|
The Orlando Prime Outlets recently replaced the Belz Factory Outlet on North
International Drive. Its located only minutes from Universal Orlando and just 12
miles away from Disney which makes it very convenient for vacationers staying in
the area. DKNY, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Nike, and Calvin Klein are just some of the
many stores you would find here. The Prime Outlets is also great place to shop
for shoes, maternity clothing, and jewelry. The selections offered here attract
thousands of tourists and residents each month so be sure to drop by during your
upcoming trip so you could join in on the savings and discounts. Although very
young, the Prime Outlets has a promising future with the renovations that will
further solidify its title of the largest outlet center in Orlando. |

I come to Florida pretty often and whenever I go I would always take a
trip or two down to the Belz Outlet but this last time it turned out that it had
been replaced with the “Prime Outlets.” The deals were just as good and many of
the old stores are still there. Although the outlets have gone through
renovations since its Belz Outlet days, the deals stayed the almost exactly the
same at 40 to 75% off. But if there is one thing about the new outlets that I
would critique it would be the lack of food locations. I’m an all day shopper
and I was starving there, but other than that the only real difference I noticed
between the Prime Outlets and Belz Factory outlet is the name. -Michelle B. |
Mercado |
|
The Mercado is one of the biggest hits on International Drive. It’s unique
and original Mediterranean look fits perfectly with the warm pleasant weather of
Florida. Walk on cobblestone streetscapes while you look through the 60 stores
and eat at the highly praised restaurants of Mercado, guaranteed to satisfy your
taste buds. Or if you are just looking for a quick bite Mercado also has the
only international food court on International Drive. Mercado serves visitors
not only throughout the day, but the night as well. When the sun goes down,
enjoy the live entertainment and music in the center courtyard which would be
perfect for the family or a group of friends. The best thing is its free! There
are also bars located along the sides of the center courtyard for those who
would like to grab a drink while enjoying the entertainment. It’s all these
things that keep locals and tourists coming back time after time. The Mercado is
also home to a very popular attraction called Titanic ~ The Experience. Come
here for a trip back to the past and explore the story of the Titanic in a way
never done before. Things could not possibly get any more realistic with over
200 original artifacts from collections all across the world, the only
re-creation of the Titanic main room and staircase, and live interpretations
from the costumed staff. It’s a great attraction for history buffs and families. |

I remember coming here during spring break of 2005 and it was great. My
girlfriends and I were staying at the Rosen Hotel and decided to check out
Mercado one night and it was great. They had free live entertainment, free
parking, and an awesome environment with that exotic look of the buildings. The
crowd and the bars were great too; we met locals and other tourists from all
around. The prices were cheap and the restaurants are mouth-watering. It’s a
different scene from nightclubs, but I loved it all. Even though it seemed to be
geared more as a family attraction, my friends and I still had a wonderful time.
