Quite
possibly the most lavishly elegant hotel in Florida, the Gaylord Palms
Resort and Convention Center has everything that you would expect in a
first-class luxury hotel and much more than you could possibly imagine.
This award-winning hotel features a Gaylord signature glass-dome atrium
encompassing the majority of the hotel, over 400,000 square feet of
meeting and exhibition space (the most in Florida), 1,400 rooms
(including more than 100 suites), and three (3) full service restaurants
with several fast-service outlets. Also at the disposal of all the
guests of Gaylord Palms are a full service spa and a state-of-art
workout facility covering over 24,000 square-feet.
The natural themes
of the Sunshine State were embedded in the design of this resplendent
resort and convention center. There is 4 1/2 acres of themed luxury
under the signature glass dome of Gaylord Palms. These Florida themes

Villa de Flora
Luring locals and
hotel guests alike, the grand kitchens of the Villa de Flora offer
cuisines from around the Mediterranean. A gourmet spread of carved meats, fresh seafood, and
made-to-order pastas and omelets are just a few of the items on this
varied menu. You can even season your own meal according to your
preference by using the fresh herbs growing on the table. You can also
look forward to nightly entertainment to accompany your dinner.

Sunset Sam’s Fish
Camp Step aboard the 60-foot long S.S. Gaylord and
be immersed in a Key West-Ernest Hemingway blended atmosphere where you
can dine on a Caribbean/Floridian cuisine. This cuisine includes such
delicacies as Japanese calamari, crunchy conch fritters, tasty crab
cakes, and Fisherman’s Stew. There is also Aged Angus for the beefeater

Steakhouse
Located in the Everglades
Atrium, the Old Hickory Steakhouse lives up to the tradition of the most
acclaimed steakhouses. You’ll find a variety of naturally aged steaks on
the menu along with capon, venison, veal, and Maine lobster. Seasoned
with the restaurant’s secret blend of herbs and spices, the 16-oz.
flame-grilled New York strip is delicious and tender. Desserts are also

Close proximity to all the theme parks here in Central Florida is
another perk that the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center provides
to all its guests. Walt Disney World is quite literally only 5 minutes
away; the main gate is only 1.5 miles down the road. Other attractions
like Universal Orlando and Sea World Adventure Park are also only
minutes away off Interstate 4.
