Surf Pool

Walt Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon has one of the world’s largest wave pools. Surf is up all day long in this ocean like swimming pool. As the huge wave comes every ninety seconds, many guests love to body surf all the way back to the white sandy shores.

            This is a great area for families to swim together. The waves are a bit strong though, so make sure you prepare yourself for the massive waves. Children are more than welcome to wear life vests in the water, but there are also lifeguards on stand. Food and drinks are not permitted in the wave pool but guests can keep those near by on the shore with the rest of their belongings.

            Whether you are seated at the edge of the beach and letting the waves refresh your feet, or diving underneath the waves with the rest of the crowd, you are sure to hear the shrieks of excitement each time a wave heads for shore.
