Ketchakiddee
Creek
We all know how disappointing it is when we are so excited to get on
a ride with mom and dad and when we get to the front that mean
greeter asks us to stand next to that dreaded measuring pole. This
is where they break our hearts and tell us, “I’m sorry I can’t let
you on.”Ketchakidde Creek is a great area for
families, especially families with children that just miss the 48
inch requirement to get on the bigger rides. Ketchakiddie Creek has
two slides that children have to be less than 48 inches tall to
ride. One of the slides is even an individual tube ride. On both of
these slides the child must ride down by themselves, although the
parent or older sibling can catch them at the bottom.
Along with those two slides, specifically for
children under 48 inches, there are many smaller slides for the
children to play on. In addition, the ever so popular ship is in
this kiddie area. This ship has water shooters to get not only the
lifeguards, but all your friends soaked.
Walk through the cave as you wander around the
creek trying to find the perfect place to settle. There are plenty
of chairs to choose from either in the sand or on the shore, all
located in Ketchakiddie Creek to make sure you can keep an eye on
your children while also relaxing.
Just steps away from Gangplank, Keelhaul, and
Mayday Falls, Ketchakiddie Creek is a wonderful place to settle down
and play with the kids.
