Crush
‘n’ Gusher is one of the newest rides at Walt Disney World’s Typhoon
Lagoon. Neatly nestled to the right of the front entrance, Crush ‘n’
Gusher is right around the corner from the Shark Reef. A fun area,
away from the crowds of people, there is a nice sandy beach with a
small swimming area with lots of lounging chairs, shade, and even an
ice cold drink stand near by.
Crush ‘n’ Gusher can be ridden with 1, 2, or 3
occupants. As guests arrive toward the front of the attraction they
will notice there is a split. Those with three guests riding will go
to the right and guests with one or two riders will continue to the
left. When guests get to the front they will receive the appropriate
tube. At this time the greeter will make sure all riders at least 48
inches tall to ride. This is only one of two rides at Walt Disney
World’s TyphoonLagoonWaterPark
that has a height requirement. Now the guests will be able to move
up the path towards the stairs. If needed there is an elevator for
those with disabilities, just ask the closest Disney Cast Member for
assistance.
There are three different slides each named
with a fruit, banana, coconut, and pineapple. Although the banana
blaster can be ridden with only 1 or 2 occupants, the coconut and
pineapple slides can have up to three people enjoy the attraction
together. Guests will enjoy the plunges and upward thrills of this
roller coaster of a water slide. After the slides dump guests into a
shallow pool area, they hand off their tube to the next guest in
line and enjoy the rest of their wonderful day.
