Located among the most thrilling rides in Orlando, Florida, The Incredible Hulk Coaster is one of if not the most eye catching roller coaster in Marvel Super Hero Island at Islands of Adventure. This ride has quickly gained all sorts of media attention and has made its name in the list of the world’s best roller coasters. Named after Marvel Comic’s big green super hero, The Incredible Hulk Coaster was named the #1 Roller Coaster by Discovery Channel viewers. The Incredible Hulk Coaster gained its popularity so quickly because it is unlike most roller coasters. Instead of being lifted up by chains it is launched and accelerates from 0-40 in less than 2 seconds, the best part about it is that the ride doesn’t wait to perform this stunt, as soon as you get on the roller coaster is when you are launched.

Entering as guests and riders and become volunteers in the lab of Bruce Banner. Inside of the lab you will notice that there are many televisions showing the story of the Hulk. Bruce created the Hulk however now he is in the process of trying to find a way to reverse the effects that he originally put onto the Hulk, and as your responsibility as a volunteer you will help Bruce in his attempt. While walking through Bruce’s lab you encounter items including the generator, the Gamma core and the towers of power. Another perk to being a “volunteer” on this ride is that you can watch the other riders through the holes in the wall of the lab while waiting in line.

The Incredible Hulk LoopAt the lift hill for the very little amount of time that you spend in it, you and the rest of the volunteers enter the Project Gamma tube and listen to Bruce Banner expressing his anger towards another malfunction. At a point Bruce begins to think everything will work and is until he hears “Warning: Coolant Level Dropping." As Bruce ends his pleading to get out of the room you are shot up the lift hill at 40 MPH in under 2 seconds, and before you know it there is a massive list of inversions headed your way. The first thing you do is head into an inverted zero gravity roll, and you head down a 105-foot \ drop and through a cobra roll that was the world’s largest in 1999. Riders complete a vertical loop, then enter a tunnel full of mist. At this point of the ride the speed of the train has reached the highest speed that it will reach on the ride at approximately 60-67 mph the train encircles the gamma tube pulling 4Gs and is sent into the back area by a corkscrew. After another loop which is wrapped around the brake run and two over-banked turns, the coaster begins to slow down to a replica loading dock where some people may believe it’s the end of the ride, however before you are able to think you are being sent down another hill to a corkscrew and turn-around. Riders then travel sideways through a camera area and then to the ride's closing after a helix.
