Holyland Experience

As the Crystal Living Waters danced to the rhythms of Hallelujah, Hallelujah, the Holyland Experience transported us back to a bygone era of the bible, nearly 2,000 years ago when Jesus, the Messiah walked in Jerusalem.

Outside the gate, over 1,500 people lined up with anticipation reliving a pivotal moment in history as powerful characters step right off the pages of the bible. As the line wound around to the Damascus and Jaffa Gates, over 2,000 tickets were exhausted just 1/2 hour after the park was open.

While thousands of people remained outside the gates, thousands more making a long line on I-4, our journey was about to begin. Just through the gate guests found themselves in the authentic Middle-Eastern market place of Jerusalem. Merchants dressed in the times sold handcrafted products in the midst of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other detailed artefact's.

The streets of Jerusalem bustled with excitement as children headed to Smile of a Child Adventure Land. Sounds of music filled the air with singing and drum beats. Sights and sounds of festivity filled the air as the crowd headed to partake of the last supper of Jesus. While being ushered to the last supper table, Jesus transported guests back to his supper with his disciples before his impending death.

Sounds of people praising on stage with Sing Along Live emanated from the theatre as the crowd headed to The Jerusalem Model Presentation. Beyond the door of the Shofar building (Shofar being God's voice) a breathtaking model full scale of the city of Jerusalem stretch across the building. Largest model of it's kind dated back to A.D. 66, displayed a stunning view of Jerusalem 2,000 years ago in living colors.

Perhaps the the most soul-stirring events of the day was the Behold the Lamb Drama. From the hall of Pontius Pilate to his fateful scourging, amazing scenes combined with heart-felt drama, caused conviction and tears from many guest. From the high priest's accusation of blasphemy to moment Jesus emerges from the tomb, guests found themselves in the middle of one of the most powerful presentation.
