Hilton who is making a big foot-print in Orlando, had it's grand gala opening on Saturday near the Orlando Convention Center. Many planners are hoping that the new 1,400 bed hotel will provide more luxury rooms just minutes from the Convention Center.

With nearly 15 hotels in the area, Hilton also opened a new 1,000-room building near the Bonnet Creek area. Hilton is confident that it's new hotels will provide both business & leisure travelers a pleasant mixture of luxury and business components.

Economists feel that its a positive push for Hilton to make it's footprint in the tropical sand. A lot of confidence is being demonstrated by building hotels in the Orlando metro area.

The presence of Hilton in Orlando could add to Orlando County Convention & visitors Bureau advertising efforts due it's vast sales network nationwide. Even some aviation authorities believe that have a top-line hotel in the area could encourage other airlines to fly into Orlando.

Hilton has added another 1,094-room hotel Doubletree to it's complete spectrum of brands including Homewood Suites, Hampton, and Embassy Suites brands.
