Holy Lands opens it's doors for church Oct 6

Be transported back to a bygone era filled with the sights and sounds of the world of the bible. This is an unparalleled experience that will immerse you into a living bible museum with artifacts that date back over 2000 years.

At the Holy land Experience, guests can experience a close encounter with God through interactive exhibits.

Touted as a biblical museum in its own rite, as you pass through the gates, experience the thrill of stepping into the city of ancient Jerusalem with it's massive walls, garden tomb, Qumran, great temple, and Jewish architecture.

Walk through a replica of the garden tomb, view the place where the Jesus was laid, experience the moment that he emerged victoriously, step under the massive archway, bedazzled with the Roman columns of the white plaza, and behold the highest place of reverence, the Great Temple.

Few are aware that the Holy Land Experience is first and foremost a church as well as a theme park. Each year, the park is required to post a free day to minister to the general public in order to maintain it's tax exempt status.

Everyone will be welcomed to the Holy Land Experience free day on Oct 6, 2009. Holy Land Experience will also advertise the free day through TBN's local television channel and hopes to avoid an "uncontrollable situation" at the park with over capacity crowds.
