Universal removes blackout dates

Universal Orlando, boasting a one-of-a-kind resort destination that offers an incredible experience for the entire family, has found itself making dramatic changes.

As a last ditch effort to boost attendance, Universal has removed it's blackout dates for their Florida resident annual passes.

In an effort to lure more business, Universal debuted it's Season Pass amidst economic decline in the 1st quarter of 09. As an unprecedented move, Universal has eliminated the twelve blackout dates at the end of Dec, 09.

Universal is hoping that the extended days will enhance the experience that the parks were designed to offer.

According to some analysts, attendance at Universal is diminished 14% from the same time last year.

Let's hope that Universal can get it's Hollywood Rip Rip Rocket Ride on line to save the day.
