Walt Disney World Marathon 2010

Get ready, get set go..

Each year, hundreds of runners feel the rush of adrenaline as they blast out of their starting blocks from Epcot. They know that their 26.2 mile Marathon has only just begun.

Disney's Sports signature Marathon's course will traverse through four major theme parks including Epcot Center, Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and then finishes at Epcot Center.

Creating a spectacular weekend for fans, Disney's Wide World of Sports signature event traditionally takes place every January. In 45-50 deg weather, runners will tour some of the most unforgettable attractions while focusing on the competition. Along the way, runners are joined by Disney characters creating a lively atmosphere.

During this spectacular weekend, Disney hosts an array of events including dinners, parties, and your favorite character appearances.

As a global event, Disney Sports Marathon draws thousands from around the world every year. For wannabe Marathon runners, this is one race you won't want to miss.

Imagine, runners will indulge in a dynamic course back-dropped by thousands of spectators cheering every mile of the way. While runners try to hydrate their bodies with electrolyes, marching bands, Disney characters, and hundreds of families & guests will line the edges of the course.

Just moments after you cross the start line, you'll begin to imagine that crossing the finish line will be one of the best moments of your life.
