Hollywood Studios Theme Park Tour Continued

Now where were we? Oh yes .. showcasing the art of making movies, the Backlot Tour reveals all the inner-workings required to produce a scene in a film. The tour's queue mounts suspense as guests view a host of props from previous classics including Pearl Harbor, and Pirates Of the Caribbean. Hosted by TVs producer Michael Bay, be amazed while Michael reveals the special affects and photography required to produce the movie. With the help of a navy boat, pyrotechnics, and large water tank, guests come under fire in a live attach scene. If your fortunate, you might be chosen to participate in the action. Part of the tour is conducted in a large warehouse guests may recognize a prop used in scene from a past Disney classic. Boarding the tram, on a journey that winds around props including real fighter planes, production bungalows, costume factory and topiary including Herby the love-bug. View the actual jet Walt Disney used in 1964 while looking for his future site for Disney World. Be prepared as the 200-passenger tram wanders into the Catastrophe Canyon in the middle of an earthquake, flash flood, tanker disaster and pyrotechnics.

Lights, Motors, action, extreme Stunt Show, takes the action to a whole new level. Let the movie director, stunt manager and production crew immerse you in a "live" film set that will capture the intensity of vehicle stunts. Hold onto your seats for a pulse-pounding chase scene in a fictitious spy thriller in France. Cars are fitted with a high-rev motorcycle engine allowing peak performance for long durations of time. See aerial stunts, car chases, car jumps, pyrotechnics, and motorcycle chase. Be prepared for director to ask for a participant to join in all the fun.

Housed in Hollywood's legendary Graumann's Chinese Theater, is the Great Movie Ride where you and 20 other guests celebrates Hollywood and the history of film. It all begins in the queue featuring an very impressive lobby, and unique movie memorabilia including the carousel horse from Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz's ruby slippers. Be ushered into scenes that'll put you in the middle of the action from 30's chisel-faced gangster flicks to classical contemporary adventures including Raiders of the Lost Ark and provide a few surprises along the way. One scene the notorious syndicate crime boss Bugs Moran hijacks your tram after your tour guide gets wacked. Scenes include Alien, Casablanca, Fantasia, Mary Poppins, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Singin' in the Rain, Tarzan the Ape Man, The Public Enemy, and The Wizard of Oz.
