Disney's Magic Kingdom Adventure
For my best friend's son, Riley, first birthday we decided to take him to Disney's Magic Kingdom. To get to Magic Kingdom from their parking lot we had to take the monorail to get to the park. Once we got to the park, and got through the gates, you could just see Riley's face light up. There was so many bright colors and so much going on. Our first place on the map was to FantasyLand where Disney brings all the children's favorite movies and characters to life.
In Fantasyland, our first trip was to Dumbo (it was the ride with the shortest line haha). The ride was great for little Riley bug. We all hopped into a Dumbo of our own and went flying through the air. Our next ride was to Peter Pan. Riley absolutley loved that ride, he yelled and clapped and tried to reach out for the characters as we soared through Never Never Land and and saw brave Peter Pan save Windy from the evil Captian Hook. We also went on Its a Small World where "its a world of laughter, a world of tears. Its a world of hopes and a world of fears. Theres so much that we share, that its time we're aware, Its a small world after all." I always get the song stuck in my head and catch my self singing it all day long. Some other great rides in Fantasyland we went on was The Mad Tea Party where we spun around in teacups till we couldnt walk straight, we rode Cinderella's Carrousel and a few other rides that Riley could get the most out of in Fantasy Land.
Our next stop was to Tomorrow land where we rode on Buzz Light Year and I must say that i did the best becuase I came out a Space Commander! Woo!! Riley loved all the noise and the spinning carts that we sat in. After defending the Galaxy we went to Mike Wazowski's Comedy Club at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. It was really cute.
It was a super hot day outside and we did alot of walking and standing, so we had to make sure that we filled our bellys with some delicious Ice Cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. You have to love their yummy sundays with hot melted fudge, whip cream, and a cherry all on top of some scrumptious mint chocoalte chip ice cream. Mmmmm!!! Thats my favorite. Later on that day we also got one of their huge Turkey legs that are just to die for. Waiting in line for that was almost as long as waiting in line for a ride, but it was definitely worth it!
Before our last stop to Frontierland, we got the watch the Celebration Parade a little. There was tons of floats, characters, and people singing and dancing everywhere. It was a really neat experience and Riley really loved all the noise and dancing. When we got to Frontierland we watched the Country Bear Jamboree so we could sit down and relax in some cool air conditioning, well atleast i was happy for air conditioning! The bears sang as we all clapped along to their country songs. A few songs later, we were all pooped and ready to go home! Audrey and I had a great time but seeing the smile on her little boys face through out the day definintely made the trip worth it. We were all exhausted and ready to hit the bed except for Riley, he was out before we even got to the car.
Our day was fun filled and besides it being a little crowded and super hot we definitely had a great time on our Disney Magic Kingdom Adventure.
