Tooling Disney's time-share

Due to tough times, Disney has been retooling it sales of real-estate interest points. Last months overhaul included a reduction in cost for weekend nights and an increased cost for week days.

In an attempt to to spread the demand of time-share over the week, Disney is hoping that guests will redeem their points during a weekend Friday-Saturday stay for almost half the points.

By restructuring the time-share cost, Disney is hoping to reduce the demand during the week by spreading it out more evenly even though weekend nights.

Disney claims to abide by State law when reallocating points during the week as long as the total points remain the same. Althogh the total cost for the week is balanced some people may not be happy when they see an increase during their Sunday - Thursday time-share.

These are remarkable times, something like this has not happen for 18 years since the Disney vacation club began.
