Santonio Holmes honoured in Disney Parade

Braving the threat of rain for nearly 85 minutes, nearly one thousand people participated in Super Bowl XLIII parade

Braving the threat of rain for nearly 85 minutes, nearly one thousand people participated in Super Bowl XLIII parade on Monday at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Black & gold clad fans were euphoric as Holme's Saab rolled down Main Street USA back-dropped by Cinderella's Castle.

After the parade ended, Pittsburgh Steeler fans were shouting that is was an awesome experience just to catch a glimpse of the Super Bowl parade.

As the most valuable player, Holmes was clad in the same grass-stained jersey he wore during his 131-yard touch down.

With just 35 seconds left in the game, Holmes was lauded for keeping his toes in-bound after he received a 6-yard pass to score the winning points.

Holmes was impressed with the crowd willing to brave the rain on Monday as he waved and egged on fans on both sides of the street during the parade. This certainly was a magical moment for Homes who was seen wiping away tears that well-up in his eyes in front of shouting fans.
