A Trip To Epcot Center
If a trip to Florida is incomplete without a visit to Walt Disney World, than a trip to Walt Disney World is certainly be unaccomplished without a visit to the amazing Epcot Center. Epcot Center is one of my personal favorite places to go when I take a trip to Disney World. Not only does Epcot boast some great rides in the park, but they also have so many more things to do and see there.
There are many different ways that you can get to Epcot Center. One way, of course, is to drive there. Epcot is not located too far from the Magic Kingdom, do it is definitely not out of the way. You can also take a shuttle or a bus there if you are staying at a Disney hotel or resort. This way, and it happens to be my favorite way, is from the Magic Kingdom itself via the Monorail. You can jump on the Monorail from Magic Kingdom and take a majestic ride all the way to Epcot Center.
I’ll bet that you are asking yourself, “What do I do when I get to Epcot?” The answer to that is quite easy, simply begin to walk and you will find that everywhere that you turn there is something to do. Epcot contains replicas of famous cities from across the globe. You can be in jolly old England one minute, and with just a few steps find that you are in France the next. Each city has a unique feature or landmark that they are famous for, and they also have restaurants that serve food and drinks from that region. You can stop by any of the many shops along the way to pick up a souvenir from the part of the world that you are in. The countries also boast rides that are unique to each country.
Speaking of rides, if you’ve never been to Epcot, but have seen pictures, you may be wondering what the big golf ball looking thing is. Well, that is called Spaceship Earth and it is a ride that takes you on a trip that starts of at the very beginning of time and shots you through the present time and offers a glimpse of the future to come. It is a great ride and it is a must when you are at Epcot Center.
The next time that you are in the Orlando area, be sure to take a trip to experience Disney’s Epcot Center.
