Animal Kingdom is the newest addition the Walt Disney World family of theme parks. Animal Kingdom is a great way to spend a day with the family. There are many new rides and attractions that will keep you busy throughout your day. Located only a few miles from the Magic Kingdom, you can hop on a shuttle bus and head to Animal Kingdom anytime that you’d like. The first thing that you may want to check out is the Kilimanjaro Safaris. This safari will take you and your family across the savannas of Africa, as you scope out some the wildlife that calls the African savanna their home. Keep your eyes open and your finger on your camera button, because you never know when you will see animals like antelopes, lions, elephants, ostriches, baboons, crocodiles, gazelle, giraffe and hippopotamus. Be sure to keep a vigilant eye because there may be poachers afoot, trying their best to steal these animals from their home. This is one exciting safari that your family will soon not forget.

After your most exciting trip across the plains of Africa, get your family together and head east to the Himalayan Mountains, home to the tallest mountain peak in the world, Mount Everest. Expedition Everest is an exciting adventure that starts in the Forbidden Mountain region, where your expedition begins a treacherous ascent to the summit of Everest. As you make your way up the famed mountain, you will notice the spectacular and breathtaking views of the Animal Kingdom in its entirety. However, before you know it, you are led into a serious of dangerous drops and spin-curling curves that run into a dead end.
