The Incredible Hulk At The Islands of Adventure
I decided that yesterday was a great day to go to one of the theme parks here in Orlando. The thing about Orlando is that there are so many things to do; you certainly will find that it is quite a tough to make a decision on what to do. I made my decision yesterday and I headed off to Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure. Now, if you think it was hard to choose what to do in the city, wait until you get into the actual park at Islands of Adventure. I walked through the gate and I was dumbfounded, I had no idea what I was going to do. Everywhere I turned, there was a ride or an activity to do. My absolute favorites at IOA are the roller coasters.
First things first, I headed over to one of the most celebrated coasters in Islands of Adventure, The Incredible Hulk. The lines were not bad at all, so I was able to get on the ride pretty quick. I sat in my seat and got cozy and buckled in, waiting impatiently for the famous first thrust out of the gateway. Before I had a chance to think about anything else, it happened. Everyone one the ride let out a scream. Some screams where those of the trill-seekers who love this kind of stuff and others were those of genuinely frightened people. For me, my scream probably fell somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.
We climbed for a short while up a steep incline to the crux of the metal hill and then we were dropped. I could feel the G-forces as we were whipped around every bone-chilling bend and the slight pause in between the loops, perhaps to let us catch our breath before the next go round. Each time that we made a climb, we were able to see a panoramic view of sections of the park right before we were let go on our downward spiral of excitement. This is what makes my love roller coasters.
Whether you are an adrenaline junkie, or someone who just likes to experience new things, the coasters at Islands of Adventure are just the coasters for you. Even if you are not a big fan of roller coasters, you should check out the Islands of Adventure anyway, because there are tons of other activities t do there. Whatever you decided to do while in Orlando, be sure to check out the Universal Studios and the Islands of Adventure.
