Heart-safe theme parks
New electronic devices will be installed at all of the Disney theme parks that are able to resuscitate a cardiac arrest. Automatic defibrillators are being installed at nearly 24 theme park through Disney World.
The areas of concern will be Hollywood Tower of Terror, Mission Space, and Expedition Everest. These moves came after an incident with Jeffery C Reeb who experienced an attack will on Expedition Everest Train ride.
Only three devices where available in the 47 square mile Animal Kingdom during the time of the unfortunate accident leading to his death. Current, Animal Kingdom clocks in 14 of the 300 devices at Disney.
Medical examiners where indecisive about whether a defibrillator could have save the man at Animal Kingdom.
