The Thrill of Animal Kingdom

I’ve seen some good parks in my life but I have never seen like Disney’s Animal Kingdom before. The park is just awesome. It became an instant hit with my family and me. There is more than plenty to do and a whole lot to see while in the park. I went crazy when I even had a chance to see exotic wildlife in Animal Kingdom. The rides were cool as well, possibly the best rides I’ve ever been to hands down.
Animal Kingdom has many shows you can see, each very awesome show. The Festival of the Lion King was a great show which all revolved around the circle of life. Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade was fun too, it really had me going. The Tree of Life is also a sight to see considering how huge the tree is. Right next to the Tree of Life was also a funny 3-D show based on “A Bug’s Life” showing how tough it really is to be a bug. The effects were great and the show really had a way of making you laugh real easy. But I have to say, one of the best sites I’ve seen the huge safari located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom. The animals were really close enough to see; sometimes I felt they were even too close. What was great about the safari was that the animals just roamed freely across the savannah and you might even get a little close to the animals.
Animal Kingdom also offers some exciting rides as well. DINOSAUR is one of them and it is a ride I won’t forget anytime soon. It’s both fast and scary; I even thought that the dinosaurs were going to reach out and eat me sometimes. There is even a ride where you can ride some serious rapids. I got soaked in the Kali River Rapids but it was worth riding those crazy rapids. One of the best rides I rode while in Animal Kingdom was Expedition Everest. During the ride, you are on a high speed train, climbing the mountain at a really high speed. I was a bit scared in this ride too but that didn’t stop me from going to it a couple more times.
There is a lot more to do in Animal Kingdom and I’m glad my family and I didn’t get to miss out on this great park. From the great sites to the great rides, I can say that Animal Kingdom really showed my family and me a really great time. We are even planning to visit again sometime soon and revisit the other amazing parks Disney has to offer. No wonder Disney has so many visitors every year.
