Disney World
The land where magic happens, Disney World. No matter how many times you go, or how many hours you spend there in a day your are always guaranteed to have a magical time. I have personally been to Disney World too many times to count and every time I go have an amazing experience. My last trip to Disney World was a spur of the moment decision that my mother, two sisters and I decided upon. So we packed in the car and went off to Disney.
When we arrived we headed straight to one of our all time favorite rides, Thunder Mountain. We were lucky to have gone on a day where the lines for the rides weren't too bad. So we rode Thunder Mountain, not once, but three times in a row! Thunder Mountain is such an exciting, fast paced ride that just gets better the more you ride it. From the uphill trek filled with bats, to the skeletons of desert wild-life hanging over you as you are taken on an exciting adventure of a run away train, Thunder Mountain is definitely a ride not to be missed.
After Thunder Mountain we decided, on our way to our next ride, to grab a mickey mouse shaped ice cream. This is definitely a must whenever you visit Disney, especially on a hot day, it's a great way to cool off as you make your way around the park. So for the rest of the day me and my sisters made our way around the park hitting most all the rides, from Dumbo, a ride most often thought of as a "kiddy" ride but which is definitely fun for all ages, to Splash Mountain a roller coaster of fun, filled with crazy twists and turns and a surprise drop into a lake full of water. We even took our mom on her favorite rides It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean, which may not be the most adventurous, crazy rides, but are definitely some great ways to relax and cool off, while exploring the movie inspired adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow and getting closer look at the different cultures of our world.
We ended our night at Disney by watching the parade filled with lights and wonderful floats that ride around your most favorite Disney Princesses, Princes, Villains and of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse and all their friends. But the wonderment of Disney isn't over yet, as a bonus, at the end of the night there is a magical fireworks show that features an array of colors, shapes and sizes, that is made even better of with the flight of Tinker Bell at the beginning of the show. Even though we didn't stay the entire time to watch the fireworks, they were still visible and equally enjoyable as we made our way from the park to our car via the world famous Disney Monorail, which is the perfect ending to great day spent with family at the happiest place on Earth.
