Animal Kingdom
One of the most exciting parks to visit in Orlando, Florida is definitely Disney's Animal Kingdom. It is always fun to spend a day at Animal Kingdom because it is so different from any of the other Disney adventure parks.
The last time I went to Animal Kingdom I took my two younger sisters with me and we spent the whole day riding the rides and going to some of the shows they had available. Our favorite ride of the day was without a doubt the Expedition Everest. This is Animal Kingdom's newest attraction, it was added to the park about two years ago. This ride is unlike any other ride out there. It is a roller coaster ride that takes riders on, what at first seems like a train ride up the side of Mount Everest, but goes terribly wrong when the tracks break and passengers come face to face with the evil snow monster. The best part of this ride, and probably the most favorite part for me and my sisters was when the roller coaster finishes by going backwards!!!!!
After we rode Expedition Everest a couple times, we decided to go in to the Bug's Life show that Animal Kingdom has. This is a 3-D show that features the characters from the Disney movie A Bug's Life. In the show the characters jump out at you and make you feel as if you were a bug yourself. It also had really cool animations that made it feel like bees were stinging you, and like it was raining! It was so much fun. We always make sure we go see this attraction any time we visit Animal Kingdom.
We ended the day by going on a safari. A big part of Animal Kingdom is all the wildlife that they have being taken care of in the park. The safari is a great way to get up close to the animals and see them in their daily activities. This is my favorite part about going to Animal Kingdom. I love seeing all the different animals they have in the park. My favorite animal to see are the giraffes. And if you are lucky, you can see them eating and playing together in the fields, it is such a cool experience.
Another part of Animal Kingdom that I really enjoy visiting is the tree of life that they have. It is a huge tree that they made, that has carvings of animals in the trunk of the huge tree. They have lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys and many, many other wild animals carved into that trunk. Every time I visit Animal Kingdom and look at the tree I find a new animal. It is so cool being able to find and point out the different animals they have there.
