WrestleMania 24 Back in Orlando

WrestleMania 24 caused a new thrill in the old Citrus Bowl stadium which hosted a record crowd of 74,635. “WrestleMania has finally returned" shouted some of the diehard Wrestlemaniacs in Orlando. Delivering the glitz and glamour anticipated by fans, WrestleMania kicked off the event with Floyd Mayweather downing the unbeatable 7-foot Big Show.

Not only was WrestleMania a adrenaline pumping event, but it had a heart-felt moment when 59-year-old Ric Flair fought to sustain his 36 year-old career against Shawn Michaels known as the heart-break kid. After 20 minutes, crowds went wild in hopes their hero could beat Shawn Michael’s in this last match, but Michael’s lived up to his name delivering a kick to the face to end the match.

Suddenly the lights went dim perhaps reflecting the completion of Flair’s career when suddenly the shameful rapper Snoop Dogg made his entrance in a modified golf cart rekindling the festivities again. Fortunately an electrical fault on the stage caused a blackout on Snoopy act ushering that loser out of the limelight.

But the grand finale was no exception as Undertaker beat Edge in a 25-minute match and then danced around the ring with a new heavyweight championship belt marking the biggest event in Citrus Bowl history.
