Fun Spot Orlando

In one of the last times I took a vacation to Orlando my family and I were taking a day off from the parks so we made a stop by a local attraction called Fun-Spot. It was easy to find and located right by a waterpark called Wet N' Wild. A treat is how this seems to be one of the few tourist spots that doesn't charge for admission or parking. It isn't the best attraction for adults but your children could not ask for anything more. For only $35 per child, they were given a special armband that gave them access to everything in the Fun-Spot. Included were the 4 go-cart tracks, 7 family & thrill rides, and unlimited plays in the Arcade. The wife and I just stayed at the snack bar, I think it was called Oasis, while the kids had the time of their life. Something I noticed that was very dangerous was the unlimited softdrinks at that snackbar. Given children an unlimited amount in combination with games and rides means they will be running for hours and hours. My wife and I also took a ride on the Ferris Wheel, one of the tallest I've ever been on, and I have to say we did get a pretty good view of Orlando.
Fun-spot must really live up to it's name because my kids kept themselves busy for over 4 hours! I was shocked to see how many times they would fall back in line to ride the same couple go-cart tracks over and over again. You need to be at least 52 inches tall to ride the go-carts so a lot of kids there were crying because they weren't able to go on. Luckily my children are older so both of them met the height requirements on all the rides. At the time we went, there appeared to be a birthday party and a meal deal for the whole celebrating party. It seems like it would be a pretty good celebration because not only was it organized, but while the children were all running around, the adults were able to relax and mingle amongst each other.
