Blue Man Group

Upon walking into the venue I had no idea what to expect. The only thing I knew about the show was three guys covered in blue paint that bang on drums. The staff was in a great mood and everyone was given a strip of white paper to wear when they walked in. They served alcohol at the venue which was a plus, but you have to take into account the Universal prices. My friends and I had such a great time I barely even noticed how fast one hour and forty five minutes flew by. There were even times when my stomach was hurting so bad because of how funny the show was. It was just plain out Hilarious! The music was great and they did a superb job setting the mood of a huge party with everyone in the crowd. In one part of the show the staff of Blue Man let out huge rolls of paper and had everyone in the crowd participate in pulling it towards the front. This is all happened while the three Blue guys were literally in the crowd walking over the seats dancing inside the crowd.
In another part of the show we did something called rock movements where the live band and the blue guys were playing rock-and-roll hits from the 80’s and had the audience do classic concert movements. To name a few was the famous one-handed fist pump, raising the roof, and letting out a huge scream. What made the Blue Man Group so unique is how much the audience was involved in the show. They even stopped in the first couple minutes after it began with a roaring siren and a spotlight that was shined on two late-coming guests! I was laughing so hard I was literally rolling on the floor. The interaction there was with the audience is the biggest difference I’ve noticed in comparison to other shows in the area.
To my surprise, this show turned out to be one of the best shows I have ever seen. In my opinion those blue guys are easily Cirque du Soleil quality in the entertaining aspect. Although it was a bit pricy, the show was worth every penny spent and then some. I recommend the show to everyone not only visiting Florida, but for those who have never seen the Blue Man Group.
