A Night at Arabian Nights

I recently took a vacation down to Florida over my children's spring break back in March of 2007. Aside from all the theme parks like Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Sea World, we threw in Arabian Nights for something my family and I could do one night, and it turned out to be amazing. My children were entertained just as much as they were at the main parks and we spent less than half the price on each ticket! Each person had a three course meal starting with a garden salad, then a choice of entrée; either New York Strip steak, Grilled chicken breast, chicken tenders for the young ones, Black Angus chopped steak with gravy, or vegetable Lasagna. Your choice of entree' comes with garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables, delicious cake for dessert, and unlimited beer, wine, or soda. In other words everyone was stuffed. Now the show was just as good as the food. I don't want to spoil anything but basically its starts with a princess and her father. The princess is in search of a prince to marry and she runs across a magic genie and is granted three wishes. The Black Stallion protects the princess while evil tries to keep her from finding happiness. And while the whole show is going on servers walk the isles serving every course of the meal as well as the beverages. Aside from the main show there are also performances like riding doing unbelievable acrobatics while riding the horses! I was shocked at how someone would even want to try the things they were doing on the horses. There are only two downfalls I can think of about the show, the first is it is really cold in the arena. I highly recommend you bring a sweater to stay warm. The second is the seats aren’t the most comfortable in the world. Near the end of the show my kids started getting antsy and uncomfortable. But other than that the show was great. The best thing that outweighed the cons is the great price I got on the tickets. When I called to set reservations the gate price is close to $60 but I only ended up spending $26 for my Arabian Nights Tickets, which is practically a steal! That’s around the same price for a normal dinner at a nice restaurant, the difference is an amazing show and free beverages are included. I believe Arabian Nights lives up to its title as Orlando’s highest rated dinner attraction, especially if you end up getting them at the outrageously discounted price. I definitely recommend this attraction for anyone visiting the Orlando area.
