Pirates of the Caribbean
On Friday May 25, 2007 I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 “At Worlds End” at Pleasure Island (In down Town Disney) with my friends and family. Walking in the movie knowing that it was going to be 168 minutes I was already dreading seeing it. Luckily I did not have to pay for my ticket because of my dad’s business I was able to get us all in for free. Also, Disney gave me free small popcorn, soda of choice, and a small bag that had jewels in it. I think that it was supposed to resemble a treasure chest with jewels in it. As I walked in to find a seat in the crowed theater I was ready to sit for awhile and watch the movie.
As I had just watched the other two movies previously before today so that my memory would be refreshed and I could remember all the things that happened, I suddenly remembered that I loved the movies because they are thrilling but more so because of Johnny Depp, he is so cute! The other two movies are not so long but, they are still good. Personally I think that you need to see the other two to understand the third one fully.
In the first Pirates of the Caribbean “The Curse of the Black Pearl” it was an entry into the Pirate videos. Elizabeth Swann who was daughter of Weatherby Swann who was governor was kidnapped by Captain Barbossa and his crew of pirates. William Turner who was a blacksmith and Captain Jack Sparrow who used to be the captain of the Black Pearl and that now belongs to Barbossa both need to rescue Elizabeth. On their adventure trying to rescue Ms.Swann they discovered that the pirates had their own little secret.
The second movie “Dead Man’s Chest” is about what Captain Jack Sparrow finds. He finds out that he owes a blood dept to Davy Jones who is the Captain of the Flying Dutchman. The people on the Flying Dutchman are warriors out searching for blood. The time is running out and Jack must find a clever way out of his dept. If not he is doomed to eternal damnation and servitude in the afterlife. On top of all of that Will and Elizabeth are arrested and sentenced to death but, if Will can get Jack’s compass and give it to Lord Beckett. When they find Jack they both are faced with another questioning adventure.
Third Pirates of the Caribbean movie “At Worlds End” is a sad but suspenseful film. After Captain Barbossa, Will, and Ms.Swann rescues Captain Jack for the land of the dead they had to face Davey Jones and Lord Beckett. Lord Beckett is now in charge of Davey Jones’s heart and he made a deal that he would wipe out the seas and rule the waters with him in trade for his heart. They must call the lords from the four corners of the globe because they want to release the goddess Calypso which is Davey Jones lover. The pirates must stand together and make their final fight if they want things the right way.
After I have seen them all I can’t wait to see more in the next movie. I stayed after the previews and it showed that Elizabeth had a baby boy! So, I hope the next movie is just as exciting as the others.
