Blast off to MGM studios for a Star Wars Weekend
Disney is mixing a little magic with Star Wars characters beyond the stars at the next galaxy outpost Disney MGM Studios. During the months of June1 – June 24, Star Wars characters will be converging on this far away land every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to meet new Jedi candidates fit for training.
This will be an event of epic proportion, potentially young warriors will immerse themselves in far-out fun and awesome encounters with Star Wars characters including Darth Vader, Anakim Skywalker, Princess Leia and Chewbaca.
Join celebrities for a Star Wars Celebrity motorcade as the legendary force cruises down Hollywood Blvd in recognition of their victorious campaigns against the Empire. Secrets of the force will be endowed upon all chosen recruits at the Jedi Academy by experienced Jedi masters.
Journey to the Jedi Academy where masters will teach young Jedi to wield lightsaber in preparation to defend earth from ruthless and ambitions terrorists. Imagine, over 1000 hours of unseen George Lucas footage providing hands on training for all new recruits of the force.
After intensive training at the legendary force academy, some of the new Jedi will be looking to put their new skills to good use. Head over to Tomorrowland and explore Space Mountain where Jedi can take a fantastic journey through time and space. Pilot your own rocket car through an intergalactic journey to your next mission.
