Become a swashbuckling pirate for the day at Pirates Dinner Adventure
This Broadway style adventure will keep you on the edge of your seat from the opening curtain until the last pyrotechnic cannon shot. Pirates Dinner Show has all the magic, adventure, and romance consitsnt with a Hollywood Broadway musical packed with surprises and thrills. As a special crew member (hostage) of the pirates, they’ll make sure your well fed for all the heavy storms and gales ahead. During the preshow, the King who assumes he has rid himself forever of that dastardly pirate Sebastain the Black, has ordered a sumptuous array of royal foods including dainty meats, pastas & sauce, salads for our long seafaring celebration.
The curtain opens Broadway style where a prince and princess Anita accompanied by their royal guard are assaulted and taken captive by Captain the Blacks pirates. A beautiful gypsy dances and sings while the pirates fight and kill the redcoats that are protecting the royal family. All of us including, Princess Anita, the prince, and the dancing gypsy are all hauled into the main arena where essentially village prisoners at the mercy of the Captains swashbuckling pirates.
The action takes place on a Spanish galleon surrounded by a lagoon filled with 300,000 gallons of water. The tale of loyalty, betrayal and romance unfolds before us as wenches began to serve the villagers piping hot roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, west Indies Caribbean rice, roasted red potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a fresh garden salad.
Six pirate mascots climbed ropes to their lookouts and strongly encouraged us to root for them when they lifted their individual flags. Every time out pirated lifted the blue flag we had to shout ho, ho, ho and a bottle of rum between mouthfuls of grub and tankards of ale.
Sebastian the Black plans to kill the prince and take the princess for himself, but his scurvy crew have other intentions and before you know it, a huge rival between pirates breaks out regarding who will keep the booty and win the hand of the princess. Mutiny ensues accompanied by dancing, acrobatics, sword fights, cannon shots and much more as good triumphs over evil .
Apple-cobbler a-la-mode was absolutely fabulous during the last act where the princess and prince finally prevailed against the dastardly pirates. But that’s not all, the evening was concluded with a Buccaneer Bash accompanied by snacks and coffee as we celebrated the night away.
