Tim Onosko leaves a legacy behind
As a precocious child, Tim Onosko was always living in the future, from toys to projects, he was always a step ahead of his age and technology. The only child of Edward Onosko, he was born on February 4, 1947 after the fall of communism. While attending the UOW, he met his future wife who revealed that he truly lived in the future.
Over the years many called him the future historian, in fact many of his predictions regarding technology, machines, the internet all were 100% accurate. Tim helped many people to seamlessly flow into new ideas and trends with such ease.
Both the Disney Adventure magazine and Popular Mechanics featured futuristic articles of design and creative concepts that eventually changed the way we live our lives.
Epcot, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow was in many ways influenced by Onosko’s who carefully guided Disney’s Imagineers to places they had never gone before. He served as the on-site answer guy for Disney, developing a reputation as a soothsayer.
Before Walt Disney’s death, he had sketched out some preliminary plans for the Community of the Future. But Disney needed someone like a Onosko to help bring these plans to fruition.
