Seaworld announces some new attractions

Seaworld, Orlando’s premier entertainment park for children will be featuring a brand-new attraction called Elmo and Bookaneers. Sesame Workshop of New York and Busch Gardens who have partnered for over 25 years have decided to form a tighter alliance in the years to come. Apparently, Seseme Streets vice president Peter Van Roden indicated that there is a natural symbiotic relationship between the education-entertainment industry and Busch Gardens.

Generations of parents and children have been fascinated with the Sesame Street brand of entertainment and it will be a great marketing tool for Seaworld. This combined with the new Shamu’s Happy Harbor will be a win-win arrangement. Currently, several projects are now under construction for this spring including Sea Carousel, Flying Fiddler and Ocean commotion.

Featuring such characters as Cadabby, Abby, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, the Elmo & Bookaneers’ twenty minute live stage show will focus on reading accompanied by singing and dancing. Elmo and Bookaneer's theme surrounds a bunch of pirates that want to steal the Sesame character's books. Without question, the target audience for Bookaneer's will be kids with special effects from the stage, land, sky and water.

For teens, Seaword Orlando is featuring a new ride Shamu Rocks which highlights music and videos from high profile artists such as Shakira, Rascal Flatts Savage Garden, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
