What could be better on a hot
summer day than racing down a river rapid in a huge raft with eleven other
adventurous folks? Not much, and if you are adventurous enough you can
experience this “Mild but Wild Thrill” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. The
only requirements are that you are at least 38 inches (95cm) tall or taller
and that you are willing to get wet!
What is calm and peaceful at
first turns into a fast paced trip through geysers and the burning
rainforest on the Chakranadi River. Although you the raft swiftly travels on
the rapids and you get entirely soaked this ride is fun for the whole
family. I have seen even the littlest ones enjoying themselves on the Kali
River Rapids.
Besides the incredible fun you
and your party will have getting wet there is also visual information in the
queue and while on the raft about what happens to the rainforest when
illegal logging is permitted. Make sure to ride this ride more than once,
each time I ride it I notice something new that I did not on my last trip
down the Chakranadi River.
